Privacy Policy

Tappy Paws is built by Raplaz Technologies LLC ("Raplaz Technologies," "we," "us"). We designed Tappy Paws to be private by default. This policy explains what that means in plain language.
The short version
Tappy Paws is a fully on-device, offline app. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. There are no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Everything the app records stays on your device.
Information we collect
None on our servers, because we don't have any. Tappy Paws has no backend, no database, and no cloud sync. We never receive your data.
The app does store some information locally on your device, including:
- Cat profiles. A name and an optional photo you choose for each cat. Photos are stored only on your device. The app uses the system photo picker, which does not give the app access to your photo library.
- Play history. Gameplay statistics such as taps, catches, and playtime, kept so you can review how your cat plays. This data never leaves your device.
- Settings & preferences. Your favorites, options, and similar choices.
All of the above lives in the app's private storage on your device. You can remove it at any time by deleting the relevant content in the app or by deleting the app.
Purchases
Tappy Paws offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional content. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We receive only the anonymous entitlement status needed to unlock what you bought, and that status is verified on your device.
Notifications
If you opt in to play reminders, Tappy Paws schedules local notifications on your device. These are created and delivered by your device. They are not sent from a server, and we do not receive anything about them. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device's Settings at any time.
Sharing
If you choose to share a cat card or similar content, that action uses your device's standard share sheet, and you decide where it goes. We are not involved in and do not receive a copy of anything you share.
Children
Tappy Paws is intended for adults to use with their cats. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Since Tappy Paws does not collect, store on our servers, or process your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. The data stored locally in the app is always under your direct control on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
